Why I decided to learn how to sew and design garment

If you want to understand how the clothing we wear today is connected to societies in each period of history and whether clothing has undergone structural changes you need ot obtain knowledge about the design, production of clothing and manner of wearing clothes appropriate to the occasion.
 This must be an ambitious goal, so I most of all wanted to understand myself, what I love - fashion and become more confident in myself - therefore build skills that will allow me to understand the whole industry - clothes creation.

My mum was a sewer. She was a professional one and worked in the sewing factory for 25 years. I can not imagine how it is possible, but I am still very curious in clothes. I bet she knows a lot, but after all this 25 years of hard sedentary work she doesn't even want to talk about it. My curiosity is purely artistic but also practical - I want to create clothes I want to wear myself, therefore save money on expensive garment and make my own with an amazing quality. This is an ambitious goal. 
But you know what? I have been to several sewing courses and heard how THOSE SEWING TEACHERS TOLD ME THAT WHAT THEY KNOW IS UNAVAILABLE ANYWHERE FROM THE BOOKS OR INTERNET AND THEY HAVE GOT SUPERNATURAL SECRET KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HOW TO SEW CORRECTLY and that I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO LEARN ANYTHING AND OBTAIN THIS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS UNLESS I ATTEND THEIR COURSE. For God's sake, what? I was so angry. I just said goodbye, but became very determined not only to learn how to sew, but also how to design patterns and share my knowledge because I truly believe that the only one or two persons CAN NOT handle the whole knowledge of the world.
These women are blind and deaf with their own false believes so let them live their false lives and do stuff!

LET THOSE WOMEN LIVE THEIR BLIND LIFE AND LET'S DO STUFF!
